+In this mask some characteristic values have to be determined:
+  * In order to be able to identify the barrel element clearly, you have to put in a **Name** for it at first.
+  * The **Diameter** of the barrel is predefined by the machine diameter which was determined beforehand. However, you should put in more exactly values for the diameter in this place, then will gather the leakage between barrel wall and screw flight more exactly.
+  * The **Length** of the barrel element can be entered in millimeters or as multiple of the **Standard value**.
+  * The **Centerline distance** of the two screws is given as further information in this dialog mask. It is not possible to change it in this place.
+  * The **Length of Opening** and the **Distance of Opening to Front of Barrel** has to be entered, too. The front of barrel is the downstream situated side.

+===== Standard Barrel and Spacer Plate =====

+The dialog windows for **Standard Barrel** and **Spacer Plate** are completely equal. Standard barrels and spacer plates are closed barrel sections. The only difference is that standard barrels are heated and spacer plates are not.
