A project is a generic term for various processes to which different simulation terms (screw and barrel configurations, process parameters with their material stages) are saved; therefore a project is a folder where processes can be saved like files.

+The input dialog //create// project will help the user to create a new **project directory**. For this the user at first enters the folder, in which he wants to save the project in or he selects it via the //browse button (...)//.
+Thereafter the user has to set the **projects' name** and also has the opportunity to comment on the project.
+With the assigned name SIGMA now creates a new subfolder containing the new project in the projects folder. Via the menu item //project// / the main menu item //edit// //project//, SIGMA can load an existing directly.
